Viewing your RestEasy Letter^tm

The RestEasy Letter^tm is a PDF formatted document that contains all of the information entered into your profile. The letter can be printed, sealed and given to a responsible party or sent electronically via email. Since the information contained in the letter is extremely confidential, take care that it is handled properly. You should provide instructions that the letter is to only be opened in the event of your death or if you are incapacitated. It is recommended that you give the letter to a responsible family member or a Power of Attorney.

You can view your RestEasy letter at any point once you've create a profile. It is not necessary to complete the questionaire before hand. To view the letter you can use the appropriate Sidebar button, Menubar option or View RestEasy Letter page button. Selecting either of these options will launch the Adobe Acrobat Reader to display the letter. From the Reader you can save the file, print or email the letter. For security reasons you should not save your letter where it may be in exposed inadvertly.

If you do not have the Acrobat Reader installed you can install it from the install CD or directly from the Adobe website.

Printing

You can print your RestEasy Letter^tm using the Sidebar Print button, the Menubar or from the Adobe Acrobat Reader^tm.

Emailing

You can email your RestEasy Letter^tm using the Adobe Acrobat Reader^tm. View the letter using the steps above and use the Email option to email the PDF file. The email options may vary depending on the version of the Acrobat Reader you have installed.
