Creating a new Profile

The first thing you need to do to use RestEasy is to create a profile. A profile is simply a secured folder containing your specific information. The profile is password protected and the only access to your profile is through RestEasy. You provide the username and password to gain access to your profile.

Username and Password

When creating a new profile, you must provide a username and password to access the profile. You will need to remember this information in order to view or make changes to the profile in the future. So please choose a username and password that is familiar to you. Some suggestions are just to use your full name as the username and phone number as the password. There are no restrictions on what you can choose. If you forget your username, you will need to create a new profile.

In the event that you forget your password, you may still be able to access your profile by providing the correct social security number associated with the username. This can be done via the Alternate Login page

After you create your profile, the next step in the profile setup will ask you to provide the following:

Nickname

The nickname field is not required, but is simply provided to help personalize the interface. A nickname is a name use to refer to you that is not your legal name. For example, the name Bob for a person legally named Robert.

Password Hint

The password hint information can be important in helping your recall your profile password. The password hint you provide will be presented to you in the form of a tooltip on the password field. The tooltip will only be provided in the event that you provide an incorrect password when logging in. The password hint will only be provided for the associated username. If you provide the incorrect username when logging in, the password hint will not be provided.
