Getting Started

RestEasytm is and organizer, but it's main purpose is for generating a RestEasy Lettertm . The RestEasy Lettertm is PDF formatted document containing all of the information specified in the organizer. This document can be printed out or emailed as desired.

Main Screen

The main screen is divided into the following sections:

Menubar

File Menu Description
Logout Ctrl+Q Logs out the current profile.
Print Crtl+P Print the RestEasytm Letter
Close Alt+F4 Closes the application
Tools Menu Description
Resume Interview Ctrl+R Continue with the interview questions from where you stopped last.
Restart Interview Ctrl+End Restart the interview wizard questions. You will have the option to clear the question status.
View RestEasy Letter Ctrl+V Launches the Abobe Acrobat Reader to display the RestEasy Lettertm so you can print or save it.
Hide when minimized When checked, there will not be a start bar icon for the organizer when it is minimized. Use the Icon Tay icon to restore the organizer.
View Menu Description
Home Ctrl+H Display the Home page.
Password Manager F2 Display the Password Manager.
Contact Manager F3 Display the Contact Manager.
Account Manager F4 Display the Account Manager.
Item Location Manager F5 Display the Item Location Manager.
Asset Manager F6 Display the Asset Manager.
Debt Manager F7 Display the Debt Manager.
Notes Manager F8 Display the Notes Manager.
Personal Information Manager F9 Display the Personal Information Manager.
Legal Manager F10 Display the Legal Manager.
Profile Manager F11 Display the Profile Manager.
Help Menu Description
Contents Display the Help System dialog.
About... Display the RestEasytm About dialog containing the version information.
Sidebar

The sidebar provides quick access to the basic features of the organizer. The sidebar contains the following:

Button Description
This button takes you to the Home Page. From the home page you have access to the main organizer features such as resuming the interview.
Displays the Question Status Page. This page shows you which interview questions and categories you have answered. From this page you can jump directly to answer a specific question or category.
This button takes you to the Managers Page where you can select the specific information you wish to update or modify.
Launches the Abobe Acrobat Reader to display the RestEasy Lettertm so you can print or save it.
This button sends the RestEasy Lettertm directly to the default printer. It does not display the letter.
Content Pane

The content pane is the main area of the display where all pages are displayed. The content pane will change depending on the area you are working in.
Status Bar

The status bar is the small strip located a the bottom of the window. The status bar contains a progress meter and will display progress and informational messages when background activities such as saving changes takes place.

The main activities you can perform in the RestEasyTM organizer are:

Adding information (via the Interview Wizard)
Managing your information
Working with you RestEasyTM letter
